Gensplan - Intelligent Marketing Critical to Capturing Business Leads

It looks like many people are making mistakes regarding the opportunities they are getting involved with and what it takes to successfully market them.

There are many business opportunities out there and people are pouring into them like crazy. Some of these opportunities are with companies that have been around for quite a while and are solid, proven winners. If you are one of those people that picked a superior business opportunity I am ecstatic for you.

But to my sadness, there are many companies out there that are pretty rickety deals. They pledge you instant riches - all you have to do is register for them, pay your monthly fees, and then you can ease back and rake in the bucks. Incorrect, this is not how it works.

The fact is, there is a massive failure rate among individuals trying to start a thriving home based internet or network marketing venture. Close to 95% of the individuals that join these online business, whether they are reputable companies or one of the shifty instant get rich schemes, will fail at making enough money to stay in business.

Assuming you picked a rock-solid business opportunity there is one key fact to consider if you want to be among the successful.

You have to understand the marketing required to make your business successful. If you don’t know how to market you will most likely fail.

And, you need to understand the most critical piece about marketing and that is the generation of leads.

You must have leads so that you can turn those leads into sales and/or enlist them into your business. The sad part is that most network and Internet marketers fall short in the most crucial part of their marketing - lead generation. And the plain reason is usually because they do not know how to market correctly. But you can without difficulty change that and get the know-how you require.

To help you acquire a better awareness of the many components involved in lead capture, I am going to lay everything out for you in a relationship diagram or marketing map. The most significant piece of the map is at the core - the landing page. The lead capture page is fundamental to your marketing and once you discover how to do all the assorted types of marketing they all point back to one thing – and that is your lead capture page.

No matter what kind of marketing you are doing, whether it’s linkedIn, Article Writing, FaceBook, Twitter, etc., all of that traffic needs to be targeted to move to your lead capture pages.

To repeat, all of your marketing needs to drive all of your traffic to your lead capture page.

Fundamentally, the intention is for you to get on your way marketing using any or a mixture of traffic generation - lead generation techniques. Then your marketing labors will direct people to your lead capture page and then you can turn that lead into a buying customer and/or a prospect to enter your venture.

If all you’re doing is promoting your business, and not capturing leads, you are doing your self a disservice. You must obtain the leads and build relations with the people whose names you collect.

Now when you learn how to market correctly, you will become skilled at how to perfect these different marketing strategies. You do NOT need to perfect them all so don’t get intimidated by how many types of traffic marketing there are. Some very profitable network marketers only use 1 or 2 of these tactics, but they concentrate on them, get proficient at them, and they take action with them.

You can employ things like MySpace and Facebook to draw traffic to your landing page. You can use blogs and forums to establish yourself as an expert and get traffic to your landing page that route. You can also run ads on other people’s blogs or use Pay Per Click advertising to get traffic to your leads capture page. Pick one to get going.

Your lead capture page becomes the entrance point into your marketing retention and follow up practice, because the traffic that you capture there goes into your Autoresponder.

All the names go into YOUR autoresponder. This is because you need to develop a list of your own clients and prospects. This is a vital point, because in the majority of internet business out there, all of your labors go to building a customer list for the company, NOT you!

You need to be doing this no matter what business you are in, whether it’s Acai Berry, GDI, Avon, etc. You need to get the traffic to your squeeze so that you can capture the lead.

The autoresponder becomes your email administrator, your marketing follow-up system and your customer retention structure.

By utilizing an autoresponder you can stay in touch with your potential recruits and over time they will be encouraged to either acquire products from you, link up with your business (if you are network marketing) or develop into resellers (if you are in affiliate marketing).

Use the email messages you convey via your autoresponder list to help your contacts. After all, they wouldn’t have opted in for your list if they didn’t think you had something to give them. So don’t disappoint them. Give them free things, give them education, coach them, and ultimately sell them on your products or company. Give away them marketing training and show them how they can be successful with the products you are selling or if they join your business. Under promise and Over deliver!

You can actually earn an income from this. We’ve set ourselves up with products and services so that we can earn money even if people don’t enter our business. This is because we have built a catalog of names that we are creating relationships with.

So bear in mind, no traffic - no leads, and with no leads you can’t keep your business profitable.

If you are already leading a business, you need to launch a training curriculum so that you can put forward even more to your list of individuals. If you have yet to connect with a company you need to find a company that gives you with the right kind of marketing training. A good training series should show people how to set up their squeeze pages and autoresponder and train them on which types of traffic generation will work best for them.

Keep in mind, you don’t have to use all the various types of marketing to get traffic. You can use the various methods independently. The important thing is to use at least one of them, get decent at it and stick with it.

So don’t waste any more time. Start doing things the right way and get the marketing training you need.
