The annual planning session happened just recently for a group of Hutchinson Hospital board members and local physicians. It was doctor recruitment that came out the as number one priority they had to look into. The issue of recruitment happens to be a national problem. Bigger cities are preferred by doctors and the next choice would be smaller communities. It is the smallest communities that manage to get caught up in this situation.
